Copyright Policy

WavePlay respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains how copyright works on our platform and what to do if you believe your work has been used without permission.

Ownership of content

When you upload a video to WavePlay, you retain full ownership of your content. WavePlay does not claim any intellectual property rights over the videos, thumbnails, or other material you upload.

By uploading content, you grant WavePlay a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, stream, and display your content to other users as part of the platform’s normal operation. This licence ends when you delete your content or close your account.

What you must not upload

  • Videos, music, or images owned by someone else without their permission
  • Content that reproduces copyrighted TV shows, films, or broadcasts
  • Music tracks or sound recordings you do not hold a licence for
  • Any content that infringes trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property

Uploading infringing content may result in immediate removal of the video and, for repeated violations, suspension or permanent termination of your account.
